Ryan grew up in Bremen and went on to graduate from the University of Southern California School of Business in 1990. He completed mortuary school at Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago. Ryan worked part-time for the family's funeral home business since 1989. He began to work full-time with the funeral homes in 1998, taking over in 1999 when his parents, Gregory and Brenda Mishler retired. While working full time at the Funeral Home, Ryan also serves as a State Senator in the Indiana Legislature. Ryan is also the proud father of a son, Grant.




Tony Ciriello retired after a 34-year career in law enforcement, most recently serving as Chief of Police for the Syracuse Police Department. Ciriello started his law enforcement career as an arson investigator for the State of Indiana before joining the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department where he served in numerous capacities during his tenure there. Those capacities were patrol officer, supervisor, detective, narcotics officer, D.A.R.E. officer and field training officer.
In addition to his law enforcement career, Ciriello holds a certification as a Medicolegal Death Investigator and is also a Center for Disease Control Certified Infant Death Investigator/Instructor. For the last 21 years, Ciriello has served as the Director of Training and Education for the Indiana State Coroners Training Board and for 24 years had been a Deputy Coroner and now serves as the elected Coroner in Kosciusko County. He has written funeral prearrangements for the last 5 years. He holds a license in Life Insurance.
In addition to those activities, he is the Past-President of the Indiana Association of Chiefs of Police. Ciriello is a graduate of the Kosciusko Leadership Academy and the Indiana Police Executive Leadership Academy. He serves on numerous local boards and civic organizations.
Ciriello is the recipient of the Excellence in Government Award from the Syracuse/Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, two-time Leaders Leader Award from the Indiana Police Executive Leadership Academy and was awarded the William Sudbury Memorial Leadership Award from the Indiana Association of Chiefs of Police. He was honored in 2015 with a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Pence.

Brenda was born and raised in Bremen and grew up working in the family business, Woodies Supermarket. She graduated from Bremen High School and attended Stephens College. After college, in addition to working in the funeral home, she taught dancing for 12 years. In 1966, she married Greg Mishler. They lived in Indianapolis until he completed college.
Brenda & Greg returned to Bremen in 1969 and took over the funeral home. Brenda has spent the past 41 years working in the office and greeting people at the door.
She enjoys spending time on Lake Wawasee, her Bible study and doting on her grandson, Grant.
