Virginia (Ginny) Beer, 78, of Syracuse passed away unexpectedly at 10:24 AM, Friday October 17, 2025 at Goshen Hospital.

Ginny was born on May 9, 1947 at Goshen Hospital to her loving parents Levi and Katherine (Kupferschmid) Beer.

Ginny was a member of Wawasee Heights Baptist Church. She loved her Jesus and baking cookies for her friends and loved ones. She was a prayer warrior and enjoyed puzzles and reading.

She is survived by a brother, Joe (Jan) Beer of Eureka, Illinois, sister, Cyndi Routh of Walton, Indiana, Brothers Tim Beer of Elkhart, Indiana, Eric (Stephanie) Beer of Pflugerville, Texas, Anthony Beer of Niles, Michigan and sister Lisa Beer of Elkhart, Indiana; 7 nephews, 3 nieces, 7 great nephews, 8 great nieces, and 3 great-great nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two nephews and one great nephew.

Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday October 23, at Mishler Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Milford, with Pastor Jeremy Jones officiating and Anthony Beer on the piano. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery, Milford.
