Shirley B. Beer

Shirley B. Beer, 88, of Milford, took the early morning flight to the heavenly portals.  She was born on January 15, 1936 to Paul and Gladys Oster Kegebein.  On August 14, 1954, she married Jesse Beer, who survives.  They were able to share 69 years of marriage together.

They shared many joys, and some sorrows in their life together.  Born to them and surviving are Lee (Sandy) Beer of Milford, Colleen (Don) Leman of Roanoke, IL, Beth (Rick) Fiechter of Bluffton, IN, Kathy (Rich) Schlipf of Milford, and Sam(Sherrena) Beer, Milford.  She also enjoyed the companionship of 21 surviving grandchildren, and 60 surviving great grandchildren. She was preceded by 2 grandchildren, Chad Beer and Lisa Gerber, and 2 great grandchildren, Micah Gerber and Rudy Leman.

Shirley loved her Lord, and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, where she served faithfully, and was loved by many, not only in her church, but in the community.  Her quiet spirit and a giving, sharing heart were a testimony to many.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 7 at 10 AM at the Milford Apostolic Christian Church, 201 N Higbee St., Milford, IN 46542.  Church Ministers will officiate. Visitation for Shirley will be from 2-8 PM on Tuesday, February 6 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Milford 461 W 900 N, Milford, IN 46542. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

The family appreciates all of the prayers and encouragement that has been shared with them in this time of Mom going home.
