Sandra Rae Poort

Sandra Rae Poort, age 72, of Milford, IN passed away on Wednesday December 15, 2021 at home. She was born on October 19, 1949 the daughter of Kermit and Patsy (Pease) Stamper in Warsaw, IN. In November of 1970, she married Emerson Poort.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Jeff) Duncan of Warsaw, IN, a grandson, Cody James of Warsaw, IN; a sister, Cathy Ryan of Waterloo, IN, and an aunt, Maxine Rogers of Milford, IN.

Sandra was part of the last graduating class at Milford High School. She was a diehard Elvis fan, enjoyed watching her favorite games shows, and loved reading, especially The Enquirer. Sandra was very passionate about horses and never missed watching The Triple Crown races.

A cremation committal will take place. A celebration of Sandra’s life will take place at a later date.
