Ronald "Ron" Fisher

Ronald “Ron” Fisher, 55, of Milford passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at his home surrounded by family.  He was born on August 30, 1963 in Goshen to Keith D. and Martha “Myrt” (Elliott) Russell. On May 24, 1986 he married Mary Ann Schrader; she survives.

Ron worked in the R.V. Industry for many years prior to opening his own business, Ron’s Well Service, Inc. He was an amateur photographer and enjoyed learning to make his pottery. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it was playing cards, listening to music, watching movies or playing a round of disc golf. He was a man who fought his illness with a determination to beat it. Ron was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend who is surely going to be missed.

Ron is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Ann, two children Monica (husband Gurpreet “Sunny”) Singh of Milford and Bryan Fisher of Fort Sill, OK and his mother Myrt Russell of Milford. Also surviving are two brothers, Craig (wife Jen) Fisher of Nappanee, Steven (wife Lora) Fisher of Warsaw and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A funeral celebrating Ron’s life will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W 900 N, Milford; Pastor Jack Barthel will officiate the service.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 PM prior to the service on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
