Marianne Russell

Marianne Russell, age 85, of Etna Green, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 1, 2023. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 9, 1937 the daughter of Leo Sr. and Margaret (Calva) Janek. On November 3, 1956, she married Kermit Russell in North Judson, Indiana.

She will be missed by a daughter, Cynthia Russell of Etna Green; two sons, Robert (Tina) Russell of Tennessee and Joe (Dawn) Russell of Knox; a brother, Leo (Karen) Janek of Arizona; a niece, Joanne (Patrick) Shirley of California; a nephew, Lee (Jennifer) Janek of Arizona; eleven grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; two great-nieces and two great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Edward Russell; and a grandson, Eddie Russell.

Marianne enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, bingo, and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed seeing her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10 am - 1 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2022 at Mishler Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 461 W 900 N, Milford, IN 46542. A private family burial will follow at St. Jacobs Cemetery in North Judson, Indiana.
