Buss is a well-known Milford icon.  You could often find him sitting and conversing with the wise men at the city gates of Milford also known as the coffee shop.  Buss was full of wisdom, humor and integrity that flowed directly from his deep faith in Jesus Christ and the power and truth of His word.

His children knew him as an eternal optimist and a giver of unconditional love.  He was a stable, reliable, gentle yet firm man.  He was willing to support your next endeavor no matter how impossible it might seem.

Buss was a true American pioneer / entrepreneur.  His business endeavors included farming, cattle and horses.  He was an owner of New Paris Silo and Equipment and flew his Cessna 182 airplane to many farms to close the deal.  He was the National Sales Manager for Brock Mfg. Milford, IN for many years and went on to pioneer vinyl fence.  Many of his original ideas are industry standards today.

Buss was an avid supporter of Christian missionary work.  He was a member of Men for Missions and traveled the world speaking in many churches and venues.  He used his own resources building a water tower and a radio station (4-VEH) in Haiti for the missionaries.  He was a member of the Oriental Missionary society.  He was a lover of gospel music. The kind with four-part harmony. He loved to sing and was a member of Meno Singers gospel choir.

His life reflected his faith in Jesus Christ.  Today he is home in the presence of the Glory of God. Amen and Amen.
