Lois J. Mcmillen

Lois Jessop McMillen, 93, of Milford passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at her home. Lois was born November 29, 1926 in Elkhart, the daughter of Charles and Helen (Baumgartner) Funk.  Lois married Kurman Jessop in January of 1945; he passed in June of 1970 and in June of 1976, she married Richard McMillen who preceded her in 1991.

Lois is survived by her children, Deborah (James) Beer of Syracuse, Angie (Gamal ) Hernandez of Milford and John Jessop of Westville. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Kurman Jessop and Richard McMillen, a daughter, Tamara Gardner and a son, Joseph Jessop.

Due to the current public gathering restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 crisis, private graveside services were held. Friends and family will gather to remember Lois’ life at a later date.
