Jul 16, 1942 — Jun 28, 2026

Milford

It is with heavy hearts and profound appreciation for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Kenneth Ray Fifer, who departed this world on Sunday June 26, 2026, at the age of 83.

Kenneth passed peacefully with his loving family by his side, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication and cherished memories. Kenneth was born July 16, 1942, to Raymond and Jean Fifer, who preceded him in death. On March 27, 1961, he was blessed to marry Cheryl Elaine Harman. Together they created a beautiful family. Cheryl preceded him in death, yet her love continued to shine on their family.

Kenneth was a devoted father to his children, among whom he is survived by daughters Penny (Ronnie) Adams, Kelly (Ted) Hart, Cathy Hoover and Cindy Price. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, sisters, Linda Smith and Sue Barr, and several nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by his son Richard Fifer, son-in-law Mitch Price, great grandson Tucker Adams and sister Carol Garber.

For many years, Kenneth worked diligently as an over-the-road truck driver, a career that allowed him to explore the country he loved. He and Cheryl’s passion for riding motorcycles was not just a hobby but a way of life. He was a former member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association (GWRRA), where he found camaraderie and joy in the shared love of the open road.

Though Kenneth’s journey on Earth has reached its end, the trails he blazed and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of all that knew him. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life of adventure and love for his family and friends. May he rest in peace, reunited with those who have gone before him, and may his spirit ride free in the heavens above.

A visitation in Kenneth’s honor with be held on Wednesday July 1, 2026, from 10-12:00 pm at Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W 900 N, Milford, IN 46542. A service will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor Rickey Bevely officiating. Burial will follow at Leesburg Cemetery.
