Keith A. Beer

Keith A. Beer, 62, of Milford went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, May 19, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Keith was born September 15, 1959 in Elkhart to Frank Jr. and Lois (Clauss) Beer. He married Beth Burke on June 26, 1982; she survives.

Keith graduated from Wawasee High School in 1977 and went on to learn to be a plumber. He owned and operated his own plumbing business, Integrity Plumbing, before his illness kept him from working. Keith wanted to live life to the fullest. He enjoyed, fishing, hunting, four wheeling, riding his Harley Davidson and was an avid Cubs fan. He loved his Italian Mastiff, which he named “Katniss”. Keith was a member of the Milford Lion’s Club and attended Nappanee Missionary Church. He always supported his kids growing up, attending every event he could. He loved his family and cherished the time spent with all of them.

Keith is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Beth, three boys, Ryan (Alexa) Beer of Ohio, Connor (Milijana) Beer of Fishers, Keegan (Ariel) Beer of Virginia; three grandchildren, Sloane, Killian, Patrick and one to be here soon. Also surviving are four sisters, Sally (Greg) Coons of Florida, Nancy Michael of Elkhart, Annette (Dave) Lutes of Ohio and Lana (Duffy) Morales of Colorado; his in laws, Bob and Judy Burke of Syracuse, Belinda Burke, Peg (John) Zimmerman of Milford, Amy (Mike) Plew of Carmel and Rob (Melissa) Burke of Michigan.

A service celebrating Keith’s life will be at 6:00 PM, Monday, May 23, 2022 at Nappanee Missionary Church. A memorial visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milford. Private burial will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be given to Water for Good or Milford Lion’s Club.
