Gaynol Lynn Von Blon

Gaynol “Gaye” Lynn Von Blon, age 82, of Syracuse, Indiana passed away on Saturday evening, November 2, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 22, 1942 the daughter of Gerald and Marjorie (Tenney) LaRue in Kosciusko County, Indiana.

Gaye graduated from North Webster High School in 1960 and retired from Johnson Controls in Goshen after over 30 years of service. Gaye enjoyed sewing, crafting, and gardening.

She is survived by three daughters, Lori Howe of Cromwell, Indiana, Christine Flaugh and Cyndee Robbins, both of Syracuse, Indiana; twelve grandchildren; a great-grandson; and nephews, Tom Hughes of Leesburg, Indiana and Sheldon Cooper of Warsaw, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sherry Hughes and Candace Cooper.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. A committal will take place at a later date at Syracuse Cemetery.
