Frances "Fran" Spencer

Frances “Fran” Stierwalt Heaton Spencer went home to be with her Lord on October 31, 2019 at the age of 92 at a private health care facility. Fran was born August 26, 1927 in Martinsville, Indiana. She married Arthur “Tom” Spencer on July 29, 1951; they shared many years together before his passing on June 26, 2016.

Lifelong residents of the Kosciusko County area, both Fran and Tom were actively involved with their Christian community. They truly bonded and took great joy in mentoring young people both in youth ministry and bringing those to Christ for over 40 years.

Fran is survived by her daughter, Beth (Dennis) Couture, grandsons Jason (Chelsea) Stover, Spencer (Melissa) Lentz, Ryan (Jamie) Couture, Casey (Bethany) Couture and granddaughter Christen Couture. She was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren, Kalynn Stover, Joshua Stover, Jack Stover, Ava Couture, Makenzie Wilkinson, Julia Stover, Bella Reed, Connor Couture, Addisyn Pettit, Tessa Lentz and Cecilia Couture and two great-great grandson Tucker Ray and Griffin Gray Stowe.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Tom.

The family has chosen to celebrate Fran’s life privately.
