Elizabeth Lorraine Burkholder, 70, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her home. She was born to Tobe and Lizzie Winger Troyer on December 29, 1947 in La Grange, Indiana. Elizabeth graduated from Honeyville Primary School.
Lorraine worked as a housekeeper. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and sewing.
Lorraine is survived by her four children, Lynn R. Burkholder of Warsaw, Kevin R. (Kresta) Burkholder of Mentone, Cheri Baugher of Syracuse, and Michelle Burkholder of Warsaw; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Katie Miller of Goshen, Edna Miller of Middlebury, Fannie Bontrager of Middlebury, Iva Miller of Shipshewana, Verna Miller of Topeka, Dorothy Yoder of Topeka; and one brother, Toby Troyer of Topeka.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her sisters Lydia Hassig, Edith Schwartz, Mary Bontrager, and two brothers, William Troyer and Mose Troyer.
A funeral service in honor of Lorraine will be held at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W 900 N, Milford, Indiana, at 10 am on Saturday, February 24. Burial will follow in Stony Point Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, February 23, at Mishler Funeral Home in Milford.
