Elizabeth "Betty" K. Rusher

Elizabeth K. (Kendall) Rusher, 88, of Milford went home to be with Jesus Monday, November 2, 2020. Betty was born October 12, 1932 in Brandenburg, Kentucky to William and Nola (Stiles) Kendall. On September 27, 1949, Betty married the love of her life, Harold Rusher whom preceded her in death on March 4, 2011.

Betty enjoyed quilting, hand crafts, cooking and camping with her husband and family. She loved being a homemaker, taking care of her family and being really involved in their activities. Betty loved the Lord and was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church for many years.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Clarissa Lee Skorupa of Monroe, Ohio, Mary “Dennise” (Dan) Leismer of Milford; three grandchildren, Mary Dannielle (Michael) Goodrich of Fort Wayne, Emily (Adam) Swihart of Elkhart and William (Bridgette) Leismer of Michigan. Also surviving are four great grandchildren, Henry and Fred Goodrich, Marvin Swihart and Luke Leismer and a sister, Myrt Thomas of Kentucky.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother William.

In keeping with Betty’s wishes, private family services will take place.
