Dora Pena

Dora B. Pena, lifelong resident of Milford, passed away at the home of her son and daughter-in-law on Sunday August 9, 2026, surrounded in love by her family.

She was born on May 20, 1947, in Odem, Texas to Eduardo Bargas and Julia Ybarra. On August 24, 1963, Dora married Jesus Oscar Pena Sr., who preceded her in death on September 22, 1990. She never remarried.

Dora is survived by her children, Jesse Richard Pena of Syracuse, Raymond (Katrina) Pena of Syracuse, and Jesus Oscar (Danelle) Pena Jr. of Milford; three sisters, Martha Trevino Gillem of Milford, Naomi Rocha of Cromwell, and Mary (David) Duhart of Palacios, Texas; brother, Abel Trevino of Odem, Texas; grandchildren, Trevor, Taran and Ciara; great-grandchildren, Trevon and Rowdy, and many nieces and nephews who considered her their grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jesus Sr., one sister and two brothers.

There will be a celebration of life in Dora’s honor held at the Syracuse Eagles #3760, 12889 N Kern Rd, Syracuse, Indiana 46567, on August 22, 2026, from 2-6:00 pm.
