Dinna Lee Parker

Dinna Lee Parker, 78, passed away on February 22, 2023 in Warsaw, Indiana . She was born on April 5th, 1944 to Vincent and Eunice (Dieter) Parker in Jamestown, New York. Dinna began as a housewife, and had a few jobs before she found what she truly loved, which was being one of the first female semi truck drivers in the Midwest. After she retired, she loved crocheting, knitting and baking. Dinna was also an author and self-published five books and wrote poetry. She loved animals and rescued cats at every opportunity. Dinna was well loved by her family and community. Dinna is survived by her son, Ashok Kamdar; three daughters, Sarita Carlin, Gita Kamdar and Lara Lucas; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Vincent Parker and Eunice Parker. No public visitation or services are planned at this time. The family will host a private gathering. Dinna will be laid to rest with her parents in Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to your local animal rescue.
