Cheryl A Timke

Cheryl A. Timke, 63, of Syracuse passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born January 10, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Ronnie and Sue (Matchett) Mitchell. She married Ron Timke on July 30, 1989: he survives.

Cheryl and Ron met in Muncie before moving to Dewart Lake 32 years ago where they raised their family. She was a nurse for 32 years, and was a strong woman with a big heart. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, baking and traveling. Family meant everything to her. She touched many people and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 30 years, sons, Adam (Shannon) Timke of Syracuse, Michael (Brittany) Mills of Nappanee, Chris (Anna) Mills of Middlebury and 10 grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Jim Mitchell of Nappanee, a sister Theresa (Terry) Crabtree of Eaton, a niece Angie (Troy) Withers; three nephews, Terry “TR” Crabtree, Tyler Mitchell and Travis Mitchell and her best friend Dawn Shroyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a celebration of life on August 16, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W 900 N, Milford.
