Chad Alan Dippon

The family of Chad Alan Dippon, 52 of Milford, are saddened to announce his unexpected passing on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.

Born in Goshen, on July 11, 1974, he was the son of Jeffrey Dippon and Kathleen (Searfoss) Goodyear. Graduating from Wawasee High School in 1993 he went on to attend college at the University of Northwest Ohio earning his Diesel Mechanic Degree.

Chad was honored to come back and continue as a part of the 4th generation, Dippon Grain Farms. He enjoyed working the land and growing a wealth of crops. A man who loved America, he also served in the Army Reserves.

He supported his two sons in all things and he very much treasured watching them during their sporting events. His love of sports didn’t stop there as he was an avid Chicago Bears fan and loved college ball too. Chad enjoyed the outdoors spending time fishing and hunting especially at his friends’ hunting lodge, Skillet Fork Outfitters in Illinois. Chad will always be remembered as a kind and loving person who will be sorely missed by all.

Chad is survived by his two sons, Parker and Tanner Dippon; his parents; his brother, Charles Dippon; his sister, Crista (Jason) Garman; his brother, Zach (Chelsea) Goodyear; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation in Chad’s honor will be held on Thursday August 20, 2026, from 10-1:00 pm at Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W 900 N, Milford, Indiana 46542. Services will begin in the chapel at 1:00pm with American Legion Chaplain Steve Wilson officiating. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Milford Cemetery, 13029 N 60 W, Milford, IN 46542.
