Carol J. Treft

Carol Jean Treft, 78, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.  Carol was born on June 18, 1946 in Warsaw to the late Gordon and Rosemary (Rogers) Teeple.  Carol is survived by five children: Cory (Kaitlyn) Stump of North Webster, John (Rebecca) Stump, Jr. of Cromwell, Todd (Dawn) Stump of Cromwell, Tina (Craig) Streby of North Webster and Kim (Chris) Jensen of Syracuse; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by a sister: Doris (Larry) Burdette of Goshen and first husband, John Stump, Sr.  She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Jean Hopkins and second husband: Richard Treft. Carol worked for Maple Leaf Farms and Eden Technologies.  She loved spending time with friends and family.  Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, gardening, thrift shopping and baking and making goodies for all to enjoy! Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in Mishler Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 461 W. 900 N., Milford, IN.  Funeral services will begin at 1:30 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.  Rev. Amanda Clark will officiate.  Burial will follow in North Webster Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
