The family would like to invite you to celebrate Barb’s life September 27, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Milford First Brethren Church, 110 W. Catherine St., Milford, IN 46542.

Immediately following Barb's celebration of life will be a dinner and time of fellowship and sharing from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

Casual Dress - if you are a Re-enactor, wear your garb, if you are a Red Hatter, wear your hat, wear anything you think Barb would love.  We surely will be! Barb’s family is looking forward to seeing you there.

Barbara Kay Wuthrich, 69, of Milford went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Barbara was born May 14, 1950, in Bremen, the daughter of Russell and LaVerne (Zellers) Swank. She married Dennis Wuthrich on June 21, 1975; he survives.

Born and raised in the area, Barb was a graduate of Bremen High School in1968. Barb was a long time member of The Milford First Brethren Church, the Red Hat Society, Columbian Reading Circle, the Friends of the Library and a longtime member of the NWTA (North West Territorial Alliance) reenacting group. She was involved with the Supper Club Bible Study, enjoyed crafting, sewing, gathering around campfires with family and friends. She loved her family and never knew a stranger. She touched the lives of many people in the community and will be dearly missed by them all.

She is survived by her husband Dennis of 44 years of Milford, her children, Dawn (Todd) Mikel of Syracuse, Karin (Dave) Clark of Florence, OR, Dan (Julie) Wuthrich of New Paris, Renee (Travis) Schlabach of Syracuse, seven grandchildren, Brook, Colin, Darin, Matthew, Lauren, Harmony and Chloe.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Diana Kuehl and a grandson, Brendon Wuthrich.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be given to The Milford First Brethren Church.
