Andrew David Baker

Andrew David Baker, age 34, passed away at home in the early morning hours of December 10, 2023. He was born March 25, 1989 in Traverse City, Michigan. He married Sarah Pierce on December 5, 2014 and together they have two daughters, Charlie age 6 and Samatha age 3.

Andrew graduated from Apache Junction High School in 2008 and spent 4 years serving our country in the United States Air Force including two tours in the Middle East. After his service Andrew met and married Sarah, they lived for a time in Tulsa Oklahoma before moving to Elkhart County to be closer to family. Soon, a precious little girl joined the family followed by another 3 years later.

He was a hard-working truck driver for Zeller Transportation who always made sure he was home on the weekends to spend as much time with his family as he could. He adored his daughters and was a dedicated, protective, and loving daddy to his girls. He enjoyed his time off by spending it with his family, playing video games and playing Dungeons and Dragons. Andy never met a stranger and he was kind and well loved by those who knew him.

Andrew was preceded in death by his Dad, Jon Andrew Hulse who we are sure was waiting for him with a huge hug. He is survived by his wife Sarah (New Paris), his two daughters, his Mom Linda K. Hulse (New Paris) as well as his extended family and friends who will all miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time which will be coordinated by his family.
