Lucy Miller

Lucy Miller, 94, of Milford passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Courtyard Healthcare Center in Goshen. She was born on October 2, 1923 in Jackson, Kentucky to Cleveland and Sarah (Sweeney) Parks. She married Ramey Miller.

Lucy was a lifetime area resident. She worked for Essex in Ligonier and CTB in Milford. Lucy enjoyed gardening, fishing, and word puzzles. She also loved traveling to visit family in Kentucky.

Lucy will be missed by four daughters, Ellen (Carl) Vanover of Syracuse, Ilene Wilson of Milford, Lucille Sopher of Milford, and Vickie (Steven) Marquart of Milford; a son, Marvin (Tracy) Miller of Milford; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and two sisters, Mary Jo Goluski and Jewel Platz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, seven brothers, and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milford. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received from 3 – 7 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
