Loretta L. Mcallister

Loretta L. McAllister, 68, of Milford, passed away at home on Sunday, December 10, 2017. She was born on December 29, 1948 in Goshen the daughter of Robert E. and Hilda Elizabeth Laughlin. On October 18, 1969, she married Cyrus Ray McAllister. Surviving is her beloved daughter, Christine (Michael) Carney of Warsaw; two grandchildren, Michael McAllister and Danielle Carney, both of Warsaw; and sisters, Diana (John) Bradley of Syracuse and Jackie (Jeff) Bradley of Milford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyrus Ray; mother, Hilda Laughlin; and sister, Bobbie Laughlin. Loretta graduated from high school in Syracuse and went on to honorably serve her country in the Women’s Army Corps. She later entered the medical field as a home care aid. Loretta was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting and watching Notre Dame basketball and football and the Green Bay Packers. She liked bowling with her daughter, and going on fishing trips with her father. A memorial service with military honors will be held on December 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W 900 N, Milford, IN 46542.
