Clayton Waters Busch

Clayton Waters Busch, 13, of Syracuse passed away Monday, July 24, 2017. He was born March 20, 2004 to Randolph and Tonja Busch in Goshen. Clayton was going into the eighth grade at Wawasee Middle School in Syracuse.

Clayton was a good kid that was becoming a fine young man. Clayton was genuinely likeable, with a good sense of humor. He was kindhearted, with an easy going personality and touch of orneriness. Clayton was artistic, creative, and very smart. He had a passion for anything that interested him and seemed to master new things effortlessly, like his new found pastime, acrylic painting. Clayton was an expert on the outdoors, and a survivalist. He spent as much time outside as he could, fishing and hunting, and had great love and respect for nature and all of its creatures. Clayton also enjoyed gaming with friends and played viola and bass guitar.

Clayton’s family is thankful for the 13 years they had with him. It’s hard to put into words how truly amazing and unique he was. The world will miss an incredible human being.

Clayton was loved so much by his family. He leaves behind his parents, Randolph and Tonja, and his sister, Brittany, with whom he shared a close relationship. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Busch of Dewart Lake, and maternal grandparents, John and Ella Starr of Warsaw.

A funeral service in honor of Clayton will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Milford. Pastor Jack Worth will officiate with burial following at Syracuse Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received prior to the service on Friday from 10 – 2 PM at the funeral home.
