Liane Saovongxay

Liane Saovongxay, 86, of Leesburg, IN passed away on August 25, 2016 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1930 in Vientiane, Laos. He was married to Phengdy Saovongxay who preceded him in 2000. He served in the Royal Laos Army from 1950 thru 1973 as a mechanic and driver. He left Laos on December 24, 1979 and entered a refugee camp on January 29, 1980. He became a permanent US resident on October 8, 1980. He worked for Veada Industries from 1983 until 1995. He is survived by his two daughters - Somphiane (Thony) Sriratanakoul, and Hatsady (Ben) Sengvixay. Son - Lamthiane (Alisha) Saovongxay. Grandchildren - Tinoy Sriratanakaul, Michelle Litzau, Sydney Sengvixay, Nicole Sengvixay, Victoria Saovongxay, and Cookie Saovongxay. Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2016 from 5-7 PM at the Mishler Funeral Home in Milford. Services will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 3 PM at the funeral home with calling 2 hours prior from 1-3.
