Larry Allen Deter

Larry Allen Deter, 65, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at home. He was born on February 21, 1951 to Don and Goldie (Waggoner) Deter at Goshen Hospital and was raised in Milford. Larry married Marla Wagner on July 3, 1970. Larry retired from Builder’s Mart in Goshen, where he had worked for many years. He loved to watch westerns and could often be found playing one of his many guitars.
Larry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marla Deter of Milford; two sons, Don Deter and Shane Deter both of Milford; and two sisters, Mary Ann Schrock of Lakeland, FL and Janet Keim of Nappanee.
He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Deter; two brothers, Richard Crowel and Robert Kelley; and two sisters, Lois Cummings and Helen Gannon.
A graveside service in honor of Larry will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Milford Cemetery.
