Marilyn Kay Bellman, 73, Bremen, passed away at 9: 05 am, Saturday, July 4, 2015 in Elkhart County Hospice House with her family by her bedside. Marilyn was born on August 5, 1941, in Madison Township, the daughter of the late Ralph and Patricia (Pittman) Null. On September 18, 1959, in Riverside Church, Bremen, she married Roy Bellman, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Roy; two daughters, Angela Starcevich of Bremen and Tricia Frank of Granger; five grandchildren, Daniel Starcevich, Jacob Starcevich, Danielle Frank, Lauren Frank and Aaron Frank. She is also survived by a sister, Jane Elkins of Bremen, nephew, Stan Roahrig, Jr. of Plymouth and great nephew, Tyler Roahrig of Plymouth. Marilyn was a 1959 graduate of Madison Township High School. She went to further her education as a 1962 Bethel Graduate and earning her Master's in Education from Indiana University in 1966. In the early 1960's, she taught for a 1 ½ years in El Paso while attending Texas Western. After graduation, she loved teaching at Madison Elementary for 39 ½ years with the PHM School Corp before her retirement in 2003. She was a member of the ITSA and NEA. Marilyn's hobbies included shopping, reading, traveling, and playing cards with her children and grandchildren. Once a month, she would play cards with dear friends, Katherine and Jim Doyle. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 pm, in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. A private family service will be held with her final resting place to be in Bremen Cemetery. The family prefers memorial to be sent to the Elkhart County Hospice.
