Clifford Dean Crothers

Clifford Dean Crothers, 87, of Bremen, passed away at 11:05 am, Sunday, May 24, 2015 in his home. Cliff was born on October 6, 1927, the son of the late Andrew J. and Velma (Cline) Crothers. On April 16, 1949, he married Cora Leonard. She passed away November 20, 2014. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Dewey. He is survived by two daughters, Ginger (Chester) Mast of Bourbon and Janet Myers of Goshen; four grandchildren, Nicole (Lee) Chambers, Shawn (Christine) Traub, Tyler Traub, and Clark (Jen) Traub; and four great grandchildren, Maygan, Douglas, Owen, and Gavin. Cliff proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1947. He worked for the Town of Bremen for many years, most with the Street Department. He was a member of the Bremen VFW Post 8972 and loved to play golf. There will be no visitation. A Military Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 28, 2015 in Bremen Cemetery.
