Beatrice "Bea" Ruch

Beatrice "Bea" Ruch, 84, of Milford passed away January 27, 2015 at IU Health in Goshen, IN. She was born August 26, 1930 in DeMotte, IN to Theodore and Clara Esther (Feldman) Punter. On June 17, 1949, Bea married Russell Ruch. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1997.

Bea moved to Milford in 1949 and made this her home. She was a graduate of Vogue Beauty Academy in South bend and worked as a beautician for many years. Mrs. Ruch was also employed at The Papers for several years. She was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Bea is survived by two sons, Craig A. (Marty) Ruch of Sheridan, IN and Lark O. (Gloria) Ruch of Milford, IN ; five granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Harris of Marcell, MN;

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Harriet Hart and Charlotte Samuels; and one brother, Carl Punter.

A funeral service in Mrs. Ruch's honor will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10 AM at the Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, IN with Pastor Rob Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Mishler Funeral Home, 461 West 900N, Milford, IN 46542.

Memorial contributions may be given to Milford United Methodist Church.
