Rosemary Jones

November 5, 1930 — January 23, 2015

Rosemary Ellen Jones, 84, of Bremen passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Bremen on November 5, 1930 to Elmer and Hattie Schneider. Rosemary attended Bremen High School and went on to marry William C. Jones on August 24, 1948 in their hometown. She worked hard as a homemaker until her children were grown. She began selling Avon in 1970 and enjoyed this work for the next 40 years. Rosemary was known for a few things; she loved to clean and had the cleanest garage in town. She was a great cook and baker and could often be found whipping something up for her family. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Bremen. Her faith and her church family were very near to her heart.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Carol) Jones of Bremen; a daughter, Debbie (Jeff) Rimel; six grandchildren, Missi Coffel, Todd Jones, Scott Jones, Brad Stevens, Nicole Stevens, and James Rimel; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Donald (Mary) Schneider of Bremen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carroll, and a son-in-law, Gary Stevens.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Jean Chupp, Rosemary's caregiver and dear friend.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Bremen. Pastor Ben Hammond will officiate with the burial following at Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 pm on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist Church and the Center for Hospice.
