Enrique Aguayo

Enrique Aguayo, 80, of Bremen passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 3, 1934 in San Gaspar de los Reyes, Jalisco, Mexico, to Pablo and Josefa Aguayo. In August of 1957, Enrique married Ofelia Ramirez. He was a very hard worker and was a faithful member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Enrique enjoyed watching the Cubs and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Enrique is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ofelia Aguayo of Bremen; six children, Felipe (Gloria) Aguayo of Bremen, Sergio (Polly) Aguayo of Bremen, Arturo Aguayo of Bremen, Enrique "Henry" (Rene) Aguayo Jr. of Bremen, Beatriz Mayfield of Las Vegas, Nevada, Francisco (Jaime) Aguayo of Ingalls; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10 AM. Father Bob Lengerich will officiate with burial following in the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 PM at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen on Friday, January 23, 2015. A Rosary service will take place at 7 PM at the funeral home. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Dominic Catholic Church.
