Eva J. McClintic, 86, of Milford, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 I.U. Goshen Hospital. She was born September 5, 1928 in Lafayette to Russell and Hazel (Miller) Wineland. She married Bruce D. McClintic on April 26, 1947; he survives.
Eva has lived most of her life in the area and worked for Dana Corporation for 21 years and Sprague for 10 years. She was a member of the American Legion, VFW and DAV Auxiliaries.
She is survived by her husband Bruce of 67 years, a daughter Joellen Free of Milford, two sons, Jack (wife Janet) Stump of Watkinsville, GA and Jerry (wife Barb) McClintic of Milford. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Jennifer Garcia of Milford, Suellen Kipp of Ft Wayne, four grandsons, John (wife Nicole) Free of Price, UT, Doug Free of Las Vegas, NV, Chad (wife Kim) McClintic of North Webster, Josh (wife Abby) McClintic of North Webster; five great grandsons, three great-great granddaughters and a daughter in law, Christine Stump of Milford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
A Celebration of Eva's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 5, 2015 at Mishler Funeral Home in Milford with Pastor Bob Rosa officiating with burial following at Milford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
