Desi Anne Kathryn Jones

Desi Anne Kathryn Jones, 15, of Bremen passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was born on September 28, 1999 to Robb and Amy (Koontz) Jones in Bremen.

Desi was a freshman at Bremen High School; she participated in band, cross country, track and Art Club. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Desi also participated in 4-H.

Surviving Desi are her parents, Robb and Amy Jones of Bremen; three sisters, Kami (Patrick) Gumz of Ulysses, KS, Carlie Jones and Cori Jones of Bremen; one nephew, Parker; maternal grandparents, Bob and Nancy Koontz of Bremen, aunts and uncles; Rob (Tricia) Koontz of Munster, Jim, John (Peggy), and Joe Jones all of Bremen, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John Jones and Myrt Jones and an uncle, Rick Jones.

Funeral services will be held 3pm Sunday, December 28, 2014 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bremen. Friends may call from 1-3pm prior to the service at the church. Pastors Roger Rohde and Neil Wonnacott will officiate.

A committal graveside service will be held 10:30am Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Bremen Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Bremen Band or Bremen Art Club.

Desi was well---Desi. She was one of those amazing, unique, and challenging rare squares in this round peg world. Her intellect and beauty put us all to shame. She was meant for more than just this world. God called her to take his hand and come home.
