Doris L. Heltzel

Doris L. Heltzel, 94, of Bremen passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Signature Health Care in Bremen. She was born on February 22, 1920 to Benjamin and Myrtle Gillette in Stryker, Ohio. She married Harry Heltzel on November 17, 1945 in Wolcottville, Indiana; he passed away in 1994. Doris has been a resident of Bremen since 1945 and enjoyed volunteering for the senior citizens at the Pines. She also liked playing bingo, singing, and music.

Doris is survived by a niece, Myrtle Kline of Kimmel. She will be greatly missed by her dear friend, Evelyn Jacobs of Bremen.

A funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate with burial following in the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10-12 on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
