Eldon E. Schweisberger

Eldon E. Schweisberger, 84, of Bremen passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Elkhart Hospice House. Eldon was born on May 1, 1930 in Wyatt to Ray and Marie (Kaser) Schweisberger. Eldon graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 1948 and went on to honorably serve his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Eldon worked for Studebaker and Liberty Coach; he also cared for his mother for many years. Eldon enjoyed spending time with friends and playing games like bingo and dominos during his retirement at Oakhaven. He liked to garden and enjoyed IU Basketball. Eldon formerly attended Bremen United Methodist Church and was a member of the Bremen VFW.

Eldon is survived by two sisters, Joann Young of Bourbon and Marlene Hueni of Bremen. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service with military honors will take place on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen at 12 PM. Pastor Chuck Kreig will officiate with burial following at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Elkhart Hospice House or Bremen United Methodist Church.
