Eva J. Hawkins

Eva J. Hawkins, 87, of Bremen passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Kindred Hospital of Mishawaka. She was born in Bremen to Irvin and Lola (Pittman) Weldy on June 6, 1927. She married Clifford G. Hawkins on October 16, 1949. Eva worked for Universal Bearings in Bremen.

Eva is survived by her two sons, Richard Hawkins of Los Angeles, CA and Larry (Mary Ann) Hawkins of Bremen; four grandchildren, Heath (Lori) Hawkins, Ryan (Heidi) Hawkins, Janel (Michael) Le, Taylor Hawkins; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Blanche Urednick, and three brothers, Arvin, Cleo (June) and Clifford Weldy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford, five sisters, and 7 brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, Indiana. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate and burial will take place in the Bremen Cemetery with the committal service taking place in the chapel.

A time of visitation will take place from 10 AM ? 1 PM on November 11, 2014 prior to the funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Kindred Hospital of Mishawaka.
