Lois Marie Harman

Lois Marie (Davis) Harman died on Nov. 3 at Kosciusko County Community hospital at the age of 89.

Lois is survived by 2 sons, Dean (Linda) Harman, Leesburg, Duane (Lori) Harman, New Paris, 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Deloss Harman, daughter, Cheryl (Kenny) Fifer, grandson Richard Fifer and great-great grandson, Tucker Adams and daughter in law Connie Harman.

Lois was born to Floyd and Vivian Davis on January 8, 1925. She attended Mt. Tabor grade school and graduated Atwood high school in 1942. She married Deloss Franklin Harman on February 17, 1943 and spent years farming alongside him. As well she worked at Dalite Screen and Lowery sewing center for many years.

Visitation will be Friday November 7, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Mishler Funeral Home in Milford. A graveside service is planned for Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Leesburg Cemetery. Pastor Greg Harden of Calvary Baptist Church in Leesburg will officiate the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Kosciusko Hospice or Grace Village in Winona Lake.
