Ernestine Irene Edel

Ernestine Irene Edel, age 90, of Bremen, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa. She was born March 30, 1924 in Nappanee, IN to Otis S. and Clara M. (Stevens) Oster. May 23, 1953 Ernestine married Richard D. Edel in Mishawaka, IN. He preceded her in death July 30, 1987.

Ernestine retired from Uniroyal Plastics in 1979. She was a member of The First United Church of Christ in Bremen, and the Bremen VFW Post 8972.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am Thursday, October 24, 2014 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Gary Hinkle will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2014 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Community Hospital of Bremen.
