Ronald H. Young, 83, of Plymouth, formerly of Bremen passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 in his residence. Ron was born on March 8, 1931 to Henry and Nettie (Blinkin) Young in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of five, Ron lost his mother, and his father remarried Erma Leeper, she helped Henry raise the three boys as her own. Ronald attended Bremen High School and honored his country by serving in the Army Reserves.
On August 20, 1994, Ron married the love of his life Donna Rea, Ronald died two days before celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. Ron enjoyed woodworking and spending time with Donna, they could be found fishing together, along with dancing and traveling.
Ron worked at Digger Specialties for many years; he was in charge of creating samples for the salesmen to take on the road with them for display items.
Ron is survived by his wife, Donna along with his four children, Pam (Jason) Rader, Laurie Young, Robyn (Don) Johnson, and Chris (Jim) Campbell. He is also survived by three step children, Scott (Angie) Dietrich, Lori (John) Porter, and Joe (Vronica) Binfet.
Ron also leaves behind, 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, along with a special cousin, Nona Cottrell, and several nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Valerie, and two brothers, Clyde and Robert.
A graveside service for Ronald will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Bremen Cemetery.
