Stephen R. Kessinger

Steve's last ride led him home to be with God on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Stephen Ray Kessinger, 39, of Bremen, was born May 19, 1974 to Cheryl Kessinger. In his life he amazingly touched so many lives with his big heart.

Those closest still surviving include his mother, Cheryl Kessinger of Nappanee; his sister, Tina (Russ) Kessinger of Nappanee; his niece Sara; his nephew Deaven; and his grandmother, Annie Kessinger of Bremen.

Welcoming him to heaven and preceding in death include his granddad, Vernon Kessinger; his uncle, Dennis Kessinger; his aunt, Sandra Bradford; and a cousin, Mikie Devine.

Steve was employed at Newmar Corporation in Nappanee and loved working with his "family" at Meister Farms. He graduated from Bremen High School in 1992 and was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Bears fan. He loved his Harley, and was proudly a member, known as "Battery," of the Wild Sons Riders Club. He will be missed by so many friends and family. We will remember him for his heart and he will forever be kept in ours.

A funeral service in memory of Steve will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Burial will follow in the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Immediately following the graveside service on Thursday, there will a Celebration of Life luncheon at Meister Farm (5113 A Road, Bremen, IN 46506.)

Memorial contributions given in honor of Steve will go to the Wild Sons Riders Club.
