Lyle W. Hall

Lyle W. Hall, 78, of Bremen passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 15, 2014. He was born to Guy and Susie (Hoffer) Hall on January 15, 1936 in Nappanee. Lyle graduated from Nappanee High School in 1955. On March 17, 1957 Lyle married Carol L. Swank at the Bremen Church of the Brethren. He proudly served his country in the US Army and US Army Reserves. Lyle was employed by Bremen Castings in Bremen for over 48 years before retiring in 2006.

Lyle is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol; his 2 sons, Wade (Eileen) Hall and Danny (Zora) Hall; a grandson, Abraham Hall; two step granddaughters, Carey (Zack) May and Emily Johnson; six step great-grandchildren; his brother, Herman (Doris) Hall; a sister, Mary Alice Hartzel; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

Lyle was a man of faith who served Jesus, cherished his wife, Carol, and reared his children and delighted in his grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery with military honors.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the funeral home.
