Margaret "Tiny" Senff, 86, of Bremen passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at home. She was born July 29, 1927 in Mishawaka to William and Emma Brockmueller. Margaret attended Mishawaka schools until her junior year when her family moved to Bremen, where she assisted at her family's ice cream shop. She graduated from Bremen High School in 1945. Margaret married Lewis D. Senff on October 5, 1947. Hand-in-hand, Tiny and Lewie created Senff Wood Products in 1963.
Margaret's life was lovingly packed with friends, family, flowers, dancing, and water color painting. She was a member of the Bremen Happy Hour Home Extension Club, the Elks, the Plymouth Moose, the Bremen VFW/American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary, the South Bend Birthday Club, and the Thursday Evening Euchre Gang.
Margaret is survived by her children, Wynn (Betty) Senff, Arlen Senff, Sue (Larry) Stuard, and Chris Senff; four grandchildren, Benjamin Senff (Emily Sexton), Sarah Senff (Rory Osborne), Lewis (Tuya) Senff, and Thomas "TJ" Senff; and not to be forgotten, her furry, four-legged grand-dog, Bam Bam.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; an infant son, Blaine Edward; a brother, William Brockmueller; and a sister, Bertha Bacon.
The Senff family wishes to thank her caregivers at Bremen Community Hospital, Memorial's third floor cardiac care unit, Dr. Gregory Buck, Dr. John Katsaropoulos, and all the folks she loved and has befriended over the years.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 1 PM at the funeral home. Pastor David Russell will officiate with burial following in the Bremen Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials in her name be given to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, or the donor's choice.
