Laura S. Miller

Laura S. Miller. 76, of Milford passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in the Elkhart Hospice House. Laura was born January 3, 1938 in Norfolk, Virginia to Walter and Thelma (Trinkle) Blessing. She married David Miller on November the 8, 1962; he survives.

Laura loved her family and was always involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She had a love for all people and enjoyed talking and spending time with them. She attended the Maranatha Fellowship Church with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years David, six children, Gayle (husband Patrick) Hadley of Alaska, Karen Aiken of Florida, Mark (wife Angie) Miller of Alaska, Donna Miller of Syracuse, Andrew Miller of Fort Wayne, and LeAnn (husband Mark) Osborn of Nappanee; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Blessing of Florida, Charles (wife JoAnn) Blessing of Georgia and a sister, Dorothy (husband Allen) Cordell also of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

Services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, March 17 at the Maranatha Fellowship Church in Nappanee; Pastor Michael Peterson will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Mt Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford.
