Lou Ella Gordon

Lou Ella Gordon, 84, of Bremen passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth. She was born July 31, 1929 in Plymouth to Charles and Hester (Gross) Youngman. Lou Ella graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1947 and on June 4, 1948, she married Gerald Gordon. She was a member of the Love Circle Women's Group at the Inwood Church.

Lou Ella is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Robert) Bules of Bremen; two sons, Michael (Donna) Gordon of Plymouth and Larry (Nanette) Gordon of Bremen; five grandchildren, Brandon (Megan) Bules, Brian Bules, Nathan (Jessica) Gordon, Katherine (Chad) Goze, and Timothy Gordon; one great-grandchild, Jacob Gordon; and a sister, Annie Hall of Plymouth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Daniel Thake will officiate. Burial will follow at South Union Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Memorial Hospital or the American Diabetes Association.
