Gail Weaver

Gail Weaver, 67, of Bremen passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Michiana Health and Rehabilitation due to a short battle with cancer. She was born on August 1, 1946 to Clarence and Martha (Gunkel) Adams in Valparaiso. On November 23, 1963 she married Roger Weaver.

In addition to being a mother to her own four children, Gail acted as a mom to many of the neighborhood children that would often gather at their home. Gail loved being a grandma and spending time with her granddaughters. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing, cooking, baking, reading, and traveling.

Gail is survived by her husband, Roger; four children, Cory (Nancy Jo) Weaver of Bremen, Bronson Weaver of Bremen, Jason (Chandra Widener) Weaver of Bremen, and Brantley (Mike) Houlihan of Plymouth; two granddaughters, Naomi Weaver of Orlando, FL and Lillian Weaver of Bremen; and a sister, Jill (Ronald) Yates of Schereville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at Mishler Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 7PM.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM at the funeral home on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice or the Bremen Public Library.
