Marie Ritenour

Marie Ritenour, 89, died at Elkhart Hospice House on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. She was born on February 9, 1924 in Bremen to Ervin and Essie (Bennett) Hummel.

Marie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Greg Samons of Bourbon. A grandson, Steve (Kari) Samons of Ft. Wayne and their daughter's, Samantha and Katelin Samons, survive as well. A sister-in-law, Edna (Meryl) Swihart of Plymouth and a sister-in-law, Mildred Ritenour of Warsaw, together with several nieces and nephews, also survive.



Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Kenneth, her parents and two sons, Larry and Ervin.



Visitation at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, will be on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 1 PM.



Funeral services will be conducted by the Pastor Gould at 2 PM, following visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sandridge Cemetery, Bourbon.
