Sallie Haywood

Sallie Haywood, 71, of Bremen passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at her home. She was born August 30, 1941 in Allen, Kentucky to William "Ervin" and Nancy (Wright) Bentley. She married Charles Haywood; he passed away in 1984. Sallie loved to quilt and spend time with her family.

Sallie is survived by her son, Jim (Nancy) Haywood of Elkhart; three grandchildren, Chance Calton of Lexington, KY and Austin Haywood and Amanda Haywood both of Elkhart; five siblings, Mary Brown, Martha Akers, George "Buck" Bentley, Patsy Propst, and William Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; three children, Jackie Haywood, Michael Haywood, and Lodema "Sue" Haywood; and three siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Chaplain David Howe will officiate the service with burial following in the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 12 ? 2 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
