Richard L. Coy Jr.

Richard L. "Rick" Coy Jr., 44, of Milford passed away on August 12, 2013. He was born on September 12, 1968 in Goshen to Richard Sr. and Nancy (Plank) Coy. He married Lori Golden on January 8, 1993; she survives.

Rick was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed being outside, where you could find him setting in the shade, camping, working on his farm and raising chickens.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lori of Milford, six children, Mystique Coy of Milford, Brody (fiancée Brittany) Coy of Warsaw, Courtney (fiancée Aaron) Stump of Milford, Tiffany Stump of North Webster, Angela (husband Matthew) Moe of North Webster, Christal Stump of Nappanee and ten grandchildren, Dylan, MaKenna, Aiden, Kyleigh, Greyson, Sophia, Landon, Ella, Tieson and Peyton. Also surviving are his parents, Richard Sr. and Nancy of Syracuse and two brothers, Robert (wife Melissa) Coy of Syracuse, Russell (wife Dawn) Coy of Syracuse and a parental grandmother, Barbara Leedy of Greensburg, PA.

A celebration of Rick's life will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2013 at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford with Reverend Dr. James A. McKibbin officiating. Burial will follow in Syracuse Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the funeral home.
