John Leslie

John Leslie, 88, of Bremen passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at Bremen Healthcare Center. He was born April 9, 1925 in Farmington, Ohio. John married his wife Freda in 1972. After graduating from high school, John honorably served his country in the US Army during WWII. He worked for many years as a truck driver and was a member of the Bremen American Legion.

John is survived by his wife Freda of Bremen; three children, Steve Leslie, J.J. Leslie, and Karen Beaver all of Ohio; two step-children, Hope Andrews and Rick Andrews; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Oak Haven Community Center (500 S. Montgomery Street, Bremen, IN 46506.) Military honors will be held with Pastor Neil Wonnacott officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Bremen VFW or the American Cancer Society.
