Theadore Haas

Theadore Haas, 81, of Bremen passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Bremen Healthcare Center.

Ted was born on February 12, 1932 to Glenn and Wilma (Huff) Haas in LaPaz. He graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 1950 and went on to honorably serve his country in the US Navy. On May 2, 1953, he married Clarsia Milbourne in Waterloo. Ted worked in construction for over 50 years and retired as a crane operator from Pfeiffer Construction. Ted's family remembers him as being great with his hands and he could often be found working in the garage. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, and camping.

Ted is survived by his wife, Clarsia Haas of Bremen; two sons, Joe (Toni) Haas of Florida and Jay (Brenda) Haas of Argos; six granddaughters, Mandee (Rob) Burns, Natosha (Holger) Zink, Shannon Haas, Amber (Bob) Davis, Ashley (Brandon) Pippenger, and Andrea (Mike) Fisher; 9 great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Fred Haas, Dorothy (Donald) Cline, Ralph (Nita) Haas, Evelyn Leiter, Kay (Ron) Russell, Arthur (Janet) Haas, Nancy (Mike) Lambert; and one brother-in-law, Wayne Milliken.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Milliken; a sister-in-law, Mary Haas; and a brother-in-law, Cliff Leiter.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. His brother, Arthur Haas will officiate the service.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the funeral home.
